He
isn't a gun owners best friend He has supported the assault weapons ban, and the Brady bill, and he prommised at one time not to chip away at Massachussett's rediculously strict gun laws. He has backed off some on his antigun rhetoric, and even joined the NRA, but still believes assault weapons need to be banned.
Its a shame because he has a good charactor, and has some good ideas, but he certainly isn't a gun owners best friend.

Which stance do you want?
He claims to be a life long hunter, but has ever only applied for a hunting license twice.
As governor, he signed some of the toughest gun control laws in MA.
He supported the assault weapons ban and the Brady Bill.
BUT NOW
He's a new member on the NRA.

In fairness he didn't change much of the gun control laws, they were their before he was governor and they didn't change much during his term. He still supports an assault weapon ban though.

I'm pretty much a 2 issue voter. I want the right to educate my children as I see fit and I want the right (and the right to the means) to defend my family.
A Christian world view would be a plus.

I don't believe a word Romney says, but them again i don't believe a word most politicians say. You will know them by their fruits.
Ron Paul has an A+ rating from
GOA.

Ron Paul also has sponsored legislation requiring states to treat the concealed carry permit of one state the same as they do that state's driver's license.

I have no problems with his religion, but he has joined Rudy G on my don't vote for list because of his views on Gun Control.

With all of the unconstitutional things that the feds do... I would like to see that one happen especially since I think it IS mandatory under the full faith and credit clause. But what do I know?

And on Mitt Romney...
Let's just say I don't see him as a conservative in any sense of the word. Anyone who pushes for socialized mandatory health care can't be in favor of smaller government.

Not vote for him because he is a Mormon? That is what I have been hearing on the news. No, I not going to vote for him because he is a Liberal. Same for Rudy and John and....

Just make sure you vote for the
major party opponent of the Democrat, no matter who it is.
Otherwise, you'll be voting for the Democrat.
And rather than being merely something less than a gun owner's best friend, any of the major Democrat candidates will be a gun owner's worst nightmare if they ever get elected. (Richardson is the exception, but he isn'y going to get the nomination.)
The federal judges they appoint will destroy the second amendment forever.

Michael Moore is a life member of the NRA. Doesn't make me feel any better.
