Some here will be shocked --maybe even disappointed-- to learn he's not an illegal immigrant.

He is an illegal immigrant...No one ever approved of our New Orleans transplants!!!! As far as I'm concerned, Louisiana is a whole other country. I generally cringe everytime I have to drive east of the Sabine River and I don't feel reasonably safe until I reach Georgia. Even then I count the minutes until I'm back in Texas!

According to the Texas tourism bureau, it's Texas that is "a whole 'nuther country". ;-)

not all of us are criminals, not all of us came here escaping the hurricane, and not all of us are felons...

I'm not debating the facts that crime rates rose along with the influx... but please watch the language as it places this forum in a bad light.
Of course! Many wonderful people come from LA. Its the thugs and welfares that were Bused in here from N.O. that concern me, not the good folks like you.

Between the Katrina trash that blew over here and the Mexican sewage that's seeped over the border, isn't Houston a wonderful place

Aren't the Luigis (Louisiana Refugees) supposed to be back in Louisiana by now? Wasn't that the original intention of that whole "refugee" deal?

They cant FORCE em to leave...this country is still somewhat free last time I checked

However...they just arrest them and give them an alternate place to live...one criminal at a time
