Howdy neighbor.
Shooters Corner, 2835 Palmer Hwy, Texas City, TX 77590, (409) 945-7430
And for your CHL instruction needs: Tom Estep, (409) 945-6636, (281) 455-0846. Tom is great with the ladies.

I don't know what Shooter's Corner charges for transfers, but their prices for stuff I've bought there were reasonable.
I don't want to publish Tom's fee, but it's very much on the low side. He runs a turn-key course (range fee, prints, photos, and notarized affidavits are included). The only other costs are the ammo and lunch if you choose to eat out.
You can take Tom's course and mail your application that evening if you want.

Be sure to buy the $10 insurance. They lost one of my pistols in December and it is still not found. I did get my refund only because of the "insurance."

It was a FN 5.7 pistol. The last KNOWN place of existence was Lexington, Kentucky. The man at Bud's first told me he could nothing about it until I told him I had purchased the $10.00 insurance. My FFL in Irving said the ATF called him Wednesday asking questions.

Just call Frank at Shooters Corner and he will take good care of you. They are not a bargain basement, but they are good folks that have been in business for a very long time.

Really?
Its been a while since I've been in the area. Too bad, I bought a couple of guns from them and they were nice to deal with. There was a guy named Travis that worked the counter when I dealt with them and he was a good guy.....As a matter of fact I used to buy T's reloads wayyy back when he worked out of his house...man you should have seen all the ammo in his garage. A firemans nightmare
I have also bought a couple guns and used the Gunsmithing service from Shooters Corner ...nice people as well.
I havent actually dealt with Elite Sound and Security for guns, I only heard rumor they were now in the business, but I have bought Stereo equipment from them.
