This is my favorite indoor range.

I work 62 hours a week and they are the only ones that are open late enough for me to get in a few hours each week to keep up my accuracy. I normally hit them up on a Wednesday since they are open until 9:00P.M. and then sometimes again on Sundays when they are open until 8:00.

Great atmosphere. Nice people ...

Yes On Target is a great place. They took the time to help my wife pick out a gun that she was comfortable with. We have been so happy with how they treat us that we drive a little over 2 hours each way to go shoot there and we also took our chp class there. We will continue to both shot as well as shop there as much as we can. I have to recommend Jack and his staff to anyone looking for a place to shoot in the area.

:iagree: I learned to shoot there and have introduced 3 other people to shooting there. They are laid-back where it counts (helping customers) and serious where it counts (safety). Also, I like the fact that when you pay the rental fee for a gun, you can try as many different ones as you want for the one fee. That's pretty decent.

I was curious if someone could give me the address of this place - I am bad with directions and sometimes need Google Maps to give me the way to go (at least the General Direction I am headed  ). If I am coming from Denton where am I headed?

On Target is located southwest of Ft. Worth on US 377, just south of the Farm Road 1187 intersection. It's roughly half way between Benbrook and Cresson.

No wonder I was confused. I always thought they were in Benbrook. However, their address shows Fort Worth.

Yea, I shoot there on occasion. I like their late hours.

My wife and I shoot there most every week and she takes some of her lady friends there to shoot. George gave her some private lessons and she took her CHL class there as well. Great place, and a few handguns and rifles have followed me home from On Target over the last few years.

$17 an hour seems a bit steep for someone on my income. :???:

They are EXPENSIVE to shoot there. I shot there twice and more than likely will not return. When I went there my friend rented a gun and had to buy their ammo. He bought two boxes of Winchester 9mm for $13 per box. This was when Wally World was selling the 100round boxes for $15+ change. He walked out of there spending over $50 for about an hour of shooting. They charged me $11 + tax per hour to shoot. I could care less how good the place is, it's not worth $11 per hour. Another thing I don't like about the place is they make you show them your gun when you walk in there and give them your license info. What's the deal with that? At The Shooter's Club, my current range, it might not be as nice looking and the rnage might show some wear but everything works. Range time is $10 for two hours and lifetime membership is only $8.50. Rentals are $10 for the first and $5 for each after. At On Target they told my friend it was $17 per hour to rent.
