The U.S. Senate just voted 72 to 25 to close debate on the nomination of Judge Sam Alito to the U.S. Supreme Court. The Senate will vote on Judge Alito's nomination tomorrow at 11:00 AM EST. He will be approved and could be sworn in as early as tomorrow afternoon.
This is a huge win for gun owners!!

And I think it would be a smart thing to do would be to put him in a robe, and parade him into the house chamber for the speech tomorrow night...
And allow Sandra O'Connor to sit next to Laura up in the gallery...
I think that paints a nice picture in my book...
But something tells me we're not going to rub liberals noses in it...Even when this is the absolute right and perfect thing to do...Considering what they have done to this country...

Gives me a huge sense of relief that he's made it. The USSC's ruling on eminent domain really shows how careful we have to be about nominating judges. Now if we can get 5 more judges like Alito to take the place of the 5 marxists we've got on the USSC... we'd get back our gun rights and property rights in no time.

I think we should all go and beat some pots and pans together in the front yard! Alito is young and will be there for a LONG time.
