I have found a mag loader that really work's better than finger's. I had heard about the UpLULA loader but Brownells and everyone else were all back ordered when I tried to get one, then I found one on the rack at Academy!
I have been useing it for about a month now and will never be without one again, I'm even going to get another for a spare, this thing make's a day's shooting go much better.

If you load a lot of mag's, you better check it out.

Doggone! My ol' buddy ElGato drums up more orders for the Uplula while mine has been on back order at Midway for 11 days now. Give a guy a break, Tom. :grumble

Now that it is too late I will have to confirm Tom's report. He was kind enough to let me use his, which led to my order. No more sore thumbs and finger-tips. I recommend that you join the back-order list somewhere, just so long as I keep my place on the list.

UPLULAs & regular mag-specific LULAs are most excellent! I love 'em!

You will notice above that I mentioned that I borrowed ElGato's loader and was really impressed. At the time I was using the brand new loader which came in the box with my brand new XD-40. ElGato's Uplula was eons more painless and much more efficient to use than is my XD loader. I find it interesting that both these loaders were made in Israel.

When my Uplula makes it through the backorders my XD loader will be no more. In fact, if anyone wants it they can have it for the postage required to get it to them, first come, first served.

I had problems with the XD Gear loader when it was tight. I took some fine grain sandpaper and loosened it up. It works great now. You don't even need a table or your hip to work it. I'm not saying it's better than the Uplula but it's works for me and it's free.

Does it work with any caliber and magazine size or will I need more than one? Might go to the range more if I can still feel my fingers the next day.

I take offense to "whimp." The correct word is "lazy."

I can relate. I hope to someday be wealthy enough to hire someone to load my mags for me.

I both play guitar and do Manuel labor for a living. I don't get sore fingertips.
