I was visiting a nursing home today and saw a sign that something along the line of no weapons permitted on these grounds. It had no 30.06 or any other kind of number, so I just walked right by it. I just read in the thread on Chl's that nursing homes were off limits.
Do they need a proper 30.06 sign or not.

Under current Texas law, nursing homes must be posted to be legally off-limits.

The original CHL law banned carrying in certain categories of hospitals and nursing homes, and still requires them to post a sign similar to the 51% sign for bars. Later, PC 46.035(i) was added to require 30.06 posting.

The law is something of a mess in this area.
