Please keep my wife in your prayers. Tomorrow moring we will be going to the hopital ( which is posted 30.06 BTW) for the birth of our little girl. She will be almos 3 weeks early. The doctor is concerned about the lack of fluid around the baby so we are delivering early.

I'll update when I can.

dws has had his last full night's sleep for the next 9 months (maybe 18 years). I feel for ya - my little boy is 3years old and the little girl is 9 months. Congratulations and good luck.

Does your OB actually consider this to be early? Most call it full term after 36 weeks (or technically 4 weeks early). Everything will be fine - I am sure it is just a precaution. If it was anything to worry about you never would have been allowed to leave the hospital.

Oh, and our hospital was posted as well. But not all entrances... didn't find that one out until after the fact though.

My wife is a tad over 36 weeks. According to the OB 36 weeks and 4 days as of tomorrow. He says that 37 weeks is full term.

The baby is on the small side, but he believes still a bit larger than our son was at birth. He was 4lbs 15 oz at birth. There is a history of small babies on both sides of our families. I was 4lbs and change and anyone that has met me can tell you that that I caught up and more. My sone is now 4 and only 32lbs on a full tummy.

We had an ultra sound this moringand the OB was concerned about the lack of aminiotic fluid. There was some but not as much as he says there should be. The non-stress test looked good. Good movement and reactions from the baby. We had planned a c-section for next Tuesday. Upon further review the doc decided that there wasn't any point in waiting the 4 extra days and called to tell us we are doing it tomorrow. So, tomorrow at 7:00 am it is.

With the lack of fluid if it goes too long then there is more risk of stressing the baby. With neo natal care being so good it's safer to deliver the baby that to take the risk.
