May applicant here, My application went from processing to "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active" on July 29th!

87 days to complete!!!!!!




now we just have to see if someones playing a cruel joke on me, or if I'm one of the luckiest guys on the forum! shouldn't be long now!


edit: for the record.

I have no arrests, and have lived in Polk county all my life with the exception of going to college in Waco for about a year.
Basically my record is squeaky clean except for 3 speeding tickets. I don't know how much of an effect that it had on my application, but
my dad, who is from new mexico originally, hasn't even gotten his PIN yet and both our packets were recieved on the same day.

While you have them on the phone, could you perhaps ask them to figure out which dark pit my app fell into? And congrats to you

haha my dads in the same boat with you, I just called on his behalf and they said all his stuff looked good. pretty much exactly what they told me. He hasn't recieved his pin yet either.

Congratulations, man. Application completed on the same day (I won't mention that DPS received my application a few weeks earlier ) Let us know how long it takes your plastic to get there, they told me up to two weeks - I'm hoping much sooner.

Great news computer dude! Except for the telling them they did a good job for 27 days after the 60 day goal. I would rather you just tell them to kick a stump or pull their bottom lip over their heads and swallow.

Well, I'm just thanking them they didn't take 120 days lol.

but I was too lazy to call anyway so... lol.

oh good news, I've half convinced 3 people to get their chl's! they are just waiting on having the funds and time to go get it.

I've convinced my dad, and probably a friend of mine eventually

I'm glad I neglected to mention the fact that my dad could carry in his truck without a license, otherwise he might not have gotten it lol. All it takes for me to convince some of the people I know that getting their chl is a good idea is drop Odumbo's name.
