The gun is in excellent condition. It does not have a date code, but the slide is marked "Made in Germany" on the right and Exeter-NH on the left like most 228s do. No serial on the slide nor barrel.
I don't know the exact total round count as I am the second owner. I've put around 1000 rounds so far and the gun has been flawless except for the time when I had a small piece of wood stuck under the barrel causing the slide to be stuck and not slide back until the piece of small wood was removed. After removal, it has been flawless again. I meticulously clean all my firearms after each range trip, so it is in very good condition. So:
