Post 'em if you got 'em...

This was taken in Grant Park, the night of the Obama love-fest...

Some of them seems to revel in the shirts with the hammer and sickle on them as well...

Now...For some reason, I am sure that these people have no real idea about what it means to be a socialist or communist or whatever you want to call it...

Put the real life day of a person living in Stalin's Soviet Union, and you might have something, but I am afraid it won't matter in the bigger scheme of things...Because I am wrong, and that my political and conservative beliefs are way worse than anything Stalin or any other revolutionary leader has ever done as a dictator over an enlightened people...

Sorry for re-hashing an argument, and for preaching to the choir...And I know Obama can't be as bad as Stalin...But as far as they are concerned he's a great start...

Rant mode off...

Someone on another board actually stated that the excuse for the appearance of the commie flags was in protest of chairman maobama's policies.

Sorry, socialists are not that tolerant.

Do you think Obama will start a Stalin-type "Great Purge", sending his detractors to work camps or gulags?

:iagree:

I think Obama will be angry as he is the second black president (the press ordained Bill Clinton as the first black president), and Obama will be the second socialist (FDR was the first) ...

Time magazines cover this week is kind of scary.

I wonder what he has in mind with his internal security force that will be as well founded as our military. It really doesn't sound good. Even Hitler's Gestapo wasn't that well funded.

Not sure, but he is a die hard Marxist. Ideologicly, he is apt to do anything, and I mean anything, to get his agenda accomplished.

Obama is not our first fascist (or potentially so) president, either. Woodrow Wilson was. I touched on this in another thread, but under Wilson, who had made several anti-constitutional statements, there was the Sedition Act and the APL (American Protective League, A.K.A. Gestapo) and several other extreme and totalitarian measures.

He led us into war with the specific reason of increasing his power.

The sedition act made it a crime to express anti-government or anti-war sentiments. The APL ignored the 4th amendment and raided thousands of homes and businesses confiscating, files, business records and client lists.

I remember the process I went through for my clearance; they (NSA, DOD) crawled up and down me with a microscope and investigated all of my past associations, interviewing friends and family and tracking down those that were revealed in those contacts. "Embarassing" associations (never mind people I actually knew and dealt with) with anyone known or suspected to be "subversive" types. I do not believe Obama could have gotten the clearance necessary to be a cook...but by virtue of the vote, he is to be commander in chief with access to all national security secrets.

A clear case of failing to learn from history...

Added in Edit: I forgot to mention that somewhere around 170,000 citizens were rounded up for being in violation of the sedition act.

How difficult do you think it would be to label us all as domestivc terrorists under the Patriot Act? Not much difference.

You don't remember? Just Google it. The comment was made +/- 1998 by Toni Morrison and the press ran with it. Here's a start:
