*MADE* at Home Depot

I was visiting Home Depot a few days ago (building a back porch... argh!!!) and needed assistance, so I asked a young gentleman where a particular item was located. He responded, "It's right over here, and I'll take you to it because you've got a Glock." A bit stunned, I looked down to my right hip to see if my shirt had ridden up and exposed my G23. Nope.
So I asked, "And how would you know this?"
"Your hat!" he replied.
DUH! I was wearing a Glock hat. I pretty much gave myself away.

Anyway, I told him I'm an instructor. He informed me that he had his CHL, but had a few friends who wanted theirs, so we traded business cards and had a good laugh. Still, I walked away feeling a little stupid.

You need to wear a Beretta cap. Then they won't know you're carrying a Glock. Sneaky, huh?
I wear a cap with the name of a local range on it. It has never led to anyone asking probing questions. Maybe twice in several years, people have asked me where the range is.

I have a hat given to me by Dave Bullard of D.M. Bullard of

I might take it with me on my next trip to California though, just to see if anybody there gets their unmentionables all twisted up.

Better to get a, "I'm just happy to see you" hat.

I alternate between the F-16 hat my stepson gave me (he works for Lockheed-Martin in Fort Worth) and a Taylor Guitars hat.
Nothing like flying below the radar.

That was a good story. I usually ware my old navy cap with my ship on it, or my new TSRA cap, which I like a lot.

This is why I don't want a Beretta 92... most of the "ghostbuster" signs I've seen use the profile of the Beretta 92, and I'd hate to disobey them. LMAO
Great story, love it.

I wear the insignia of my Dad's WWll Aircraft Carrier on my hat.

My cap is a generic cap. It doesn't say anything nor does it have anyone's logo on it...it's just a cap.

I wish I could find caps with no logo. I don't want to pay money to advertise something. They can pay me to advertise it.
Probably I could get a cap made somewhere like cafepress that said, "This space for rent," but I'm too lazy.

If you want people to pay you to advertise there are takers:

"Long's fee for a permanent tattoo is £3,100."

Guess he figured giving directions a Glock owner could understand would take too long.
You should get a Glock bumper sticker so you can use the handicap parking spaces too.
