Parker County

Has anyone heard if Parker County is as slow at processing information as Harris county is? I know some people have been getting their plastic in a relatively short amount of time and some have been waiting forever, but I havent heard anyone mention Parker County.

It's really been primarily Harris and somewhat Brazoria that have had issues. Those of us in the DFW area recently have been very fortunate. If Parker is anything like Tarrant and Denton, you should have yours in January sometime, perhaps even in the first 1/2 of the month.

Thanks Morgan. I am hoping its soon, the wait is terrible. However I know some people have been waiting so long I am suprised they haven't destroyed their computer. I just can't seem to keep from checking status 4 or 5 times a day, just in case it changes.

I think Parker County is slow at getting back with the DPS on background checks.The DPS received my app end of July and i didn't get my plastic in the mail till mid November.Everytime i called the DPS said they were waiting on my background check.My total wait time was a long 120 days. Just be patient it will be in your mailbox soon.
