Is it legal to carry batrang? No, I don't plan to do that. I am just curious.

these are pretty cool, but useless stuff.

The only stupid question is the one that goes un-asked?

And the bat wing??? Appears to be the same as a throwing star to me.

"Illegal knife" means a:
(B) hand instrument designed to cut or stab another by being thrown;

Interesting. We could carry a gun legally but not a batrang? Doesn't make sense.

The plain language of the law conflicts with the legislative intent. Long story short: don't carry illegal knives, clubs ext. Its a handgun license not a weapons license.

I always thought it's dumb that I can open carry a long gun, conceal carry a handgun, but can go to jail for a double-sided knife blade... :banghead:

I can't find any real documentation that the legislators didn't want CHL holders to be able to carry sharp objects as well as Handguns. I am pretty sure the way the law is worded they intentionally made an exception. It's pretty clearly written, and our legislators are pretty reasonably educated.

You may not be able to carry the batrang, but if you hold a CHL, you can still use the batbelt, and gun "rlol"

Edit: I'll get my wolverine claws (http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_F ... 4&p=229180" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and we can team up!

The only stupid questions are the ones where "the government" is the answer.
