I was made for NYPD officers to spot a CC. But yes, I am guilty at the very lest of the shifting when I carry the LCP in the front pocet

Why I don't want to wear a vest or overshirt, but especially a vest. Is there anyone in the state wearing a vest that's not concealing? I don't think so. But that's just my opinion. I do notice my strong side keeping my forearm close to my side and a limited arm swing. Hmmm... gotta work on that.

The funky Hawaiian print shirts warn over a t-shirt just scream gun. So I don't wear that style. I like my inside the waist band tuckable holster. It allows me to dress "normal"...whatever that means. :biggrinjester: I am guilty of half the stuff on that list at one time or the other.

The problem I have is that my pants will ride low on occasion and pulling them back up with a handgun in the way is tricky.

I am good on the clothing. I wear weather appropriate stuff and nothing that looks like its too big for me. However I bet a felolow CHLer could guess where my gun is. As for someone not expecting a gun I think I am good to go. I could be wrong, its been known to happen...just ask my wife.

question, if cops learn these tips to spot us, is that a reason to stop us and ask for id or something?

You did see the small print of the author being an ex LEO?

Reason to stop you? Not unless you're walking down Cardinal lane in austin.

Yeah... bikers. Now, I'm not suggesting that no biker with a vest is carrying, I'm just say that a lot of bikers who aren't carrying still wear vests.

Because carrying a police officer is too hard sometimes...But in this case I would make an exception if she had a badge... ;-)

Dude in the picture is carrying anyway: he is wearing a Hawaiian shirt. So maybe he's carrying both a gun and a cop

I am pretty sure I don't exhibit any of these "tells" noted in the drawing. I would think for the most part these things are not going to be an issue for someone carrying legally, since #1 they are probably used to carrying every day and have adapted to it so they don't give it away like this and #2 they are using quality holsters, etc. to conceal without requiring things like frequent adjustment and that sort of thing.

In TX, I think the biggest hint that you are carrying is a fanny pack, followed by a vest.

I think I'll start wearing a vest with a gun buster sign on the back, that will throw everyone off. "rlol"
