Last night, March 11, 2009…..my nephew (wife’s side) was killed when 2-3 armed men forced their way into his apartment. Charlie and his younger brother share an apartment… and both were home at the time. Charlie was shot 3 times and did not survive his wounds, his brother was unharmed.

I do not have details yet, but I expect to know more in the coming days.

Folks, do not be fooled….bad things happen in small towns too.

Your prayers for strength and comfort would be appreciated.

Wow.

All I can say is this; be there for the brother make sure he gets whatever help you can provide. He's almost certainly going to be dealing with survivor's guilt for the rest of his life.

Not much information yet. I’ve been up all night but will report back when more details are available. The article in today’s paper states there were 3 shootings last night, two of them at the apt. complex my nephews lived at (very odd).

The accounting toward the last of this article sounds like the incident involving Charlie.
