I'm getting a Saiga 12 either when prices come down or when I have enough cash lying around. Anyone have any reasons why I shouldnt?

Even though the Saiga is based on the reliable AK platform, wouldn't an old fashioned pump shotgun be even more reliable? After all, you're not likely to be using a Saiga 12 for anything other than self-defense. I'm just sayin'. . .
