Letter finally arived today giving dates. Instead of Tuesdays and Thursdays, this year it looks like options are most Mondays or Tuesdays between August 24 and Dec. 15. They are asking for first, second and third choice dates, first-come, first served. With talk here on forum previously about some of us trying to schedule on the same day, this appears to be the first opportunity to do so. I realize the more folks involved, the more difficult to make work for all, but I'll throw out some dates here that I'm contemplating. First choice: Tuesday, Sept. 15. Second choice: Tuesday, August 25. Third choice: Monday, Sept. 21.

As a side note, the letter mentions ammo shortage and says MagTech and Monarch ammo are not acceptable at their range.

Edited to add: No mention in letter of any online study option.

Finally my letter arrived Saturday. I put in for August 31, Sept.14 and Oct. 5. All Mondays. I Faxed back this morning, we will see what happens.

Received e-mail today. Got my first choice, August 31. Range at 7:30 AM, then LaQuinta Conference room in Georgetown until 6PM.

Another instructor buddy from Denton County and I put paperwork in the mail today requesting: First choice: Tuesday, Sept. 15. Second choice: Tuesday, August 25. Third choice: Monday, Sept. 21.

Got the e-mail today. Nothing out of the ordinary. Looks like Q and I are good to go as requested for Tuesday, Sept. 15.
