Tomorrow will be 60 days from the day I mailed my application. I am assuming that the 60 days starts from when they start processing though. Hopefully, the wait won't be too much longer... sigh.

Any idea if it is 60 business days or just 60 days?

By law, the 60 days starts the day that they recieve the packet in the mail.
It is not business days, but days-days, including weekends and holidays.
I recommend reading this thread, as it outlines all parts of the statutes, and even has Charles Cotton's Opinion and interpretation, as one involved with Writing the statutes, and getting them implemented into law.

At day 90, you should possibly consider filing a request for a hearing, as Cowboyrob has detailled here:

Both CrimsonSoul & Cowboyrob requested one, and were issued their CHL's VERY shortly thereafter, IMO, because the DPS knew that they had nothing to stand on if actually taken to JP Court.

Hang in there. You're almost halfway there.

I don't remember when, exactly, I received the PIN.
I have become very comfortable carrying a gun around the house and staring obsessively in the mirror trying to determine if I am printing too much.
Shooting IDPA helps too. I recommend it to everyone.
