My son-in-law asked me to go with him and help him check out a used Glock 19. I checked its clearances and action, stripped it and ensured all was solid, clear, etc. I noted a solid guide rod had replaced the original. I thought that was a good upgrade. Rebuilt the thing and he did the paper work and bought it for less than what was quoted (they had said like new but I had made the point to let them know that while it was solid it had obviously cycled a few hundred rounds). I get back to his house to give him and my daughter a class and as I am showing them how to field strip, I pull the replacement rod and it hit me, it was a LaserMax missing only batteries! I-N-Credible.

My question exactly. Still more, I have since found out they are eligible for some free component upgrades. Just keeps getting better.

I have been interested in the Lasermax. I would greatly appreciate you or your son's impressions of it after some use.

Well from here on out my story will be it was due to my expert analysis and ability to keep a poker face and negotiate a reduced price despite the intrinsically higher value. Yeah...that's it.
