Is there such thing?

I'm looking for a holster for a Springfield Micro Compact .45 with a 3" barrel. It must have these specifics:
1) Outside the waistband
2) Leather
3) thumb break snapped enclosure on the inside of the holster
4) strap must be the type that keeps the hammer back, in the cocked position
5) black in color
Seems I can find some of these features on different holsters, but not all of them on one holster. It must exist! I'm pickey, but c'mon.

I'm pretty sure if you found a custom holster maker that makes something Very close to what you want, they'd be willing to add an extra feature or two for you for a custom order...
... of course, it will cost more, but thats what "Custom" really means

have you looked at galco?
the only thing I can think they may not have is the ability to have hammer back.

I'm just throwing this out there..YouTube has holster reviews.
I recall seeing one that talked about just this subject.
It might be worth a look/search.

I would think - although you should confirm this by phone - that pretty much any holster that will fit a 3" Kimber that fits your retention requirement would fit the micro compact pistol. Am I wrong, or is the primary size difference between the two pistols that the SA has a 6+1 capacity and shorter grip frame than the 7+1 capacity and slightly longer grip frame of the Kimber? If that is the case, then the holster would fit either pistol.
- Galco Cop Slide
- Galco Fletch High Ride Belt Holster
- Galco Gladius Belt Holster
- Galco Paddle Lite Holster
- Galco Silhouette Hight Ride Holster
- Desantis Thumb Break Scabbard
- Desantis Thumb Break Mini Slide
- Desantis Viper Paddle with Thumb Break
- Bianchi Black Widow
- Bianchi Special Agent
- Bianchi AccuMold Belt Slide
Let's see... that's 11 variants from reputable manufacturers, all available in black with thumb snaps. All but the last one are in leather, but it might still fit your purpose. That wasn't that hard. I thought you were going to make me
work to find one.

If your Springfield Micro Compact 3 inch will fit the same holster as a Kimber Ultra 3 inch, I have just the holster for you...... found it this afternoon while I was looking through a drawer.
It's black, OWB, has a thumbreak that allows the hammer to be cocked and locked. It's like new.
It's a Galco FL424B, here's a picture I just took with my 3 inch Kimber stainless Ultra Raptor in it:
Edited to add: I just checked on Galco's web site and the same holster - FL424B - is listed for a 3 inch Springfield as my 3 inch Kimber. They retail for $86 and are backordered until after Feb. 10.

I'll sell you this one for $40 and $5 shipping, for $45 total.
Just PM me and let me know if you would like it.

See my list above yours. That's the "Fletch High Ride." It's on the list.
Edited to add: I own several Galcos, and I've been consistently impressed with their quality for an "off the shelf, mass produced" holster. Yes, you can get a nicer holster from a custom house, but the Galcos are well made and rugged. I own 2 of their IWB, 2 OWB, and 1 shoulder holster system of theirs. I'll bet you're going to be happy with the one you get from DaveT.

Thanks, Annoyed Man. Galco has so many holsters! They problem is, they show the same holster for many choices. I really couldn't tell what the holster that I wanted would actually look like. But when Dave posted his picture, I knew that was the one!
Dave, PayPal payment has been sent. Thanks so much!

Just wanted to add that I received my holster today, on the day that Dave promised. Everything was a very smooth transaction. I would recommend DaveT as one who delivers what he says, when he says. Do not hesitate to do business with him if he is a buyer or seller! Thanks, DaveT!
