When does it make sense to start pestering dps for my pin via email? It's already been 2 days and I think I'm going to have to check myself into the psych ward. I'm going crazy!!

The best is to wait two weeks, they will mail it to you or I would request it then!

2 weeks is going to kill me. Anyway, looks like you and me are in the same boat, according to your dates. It'll be interesting to match up plastic dates. I'll keep you posted on new status changes

I was in the same boat, I even checked the posters name to make sure this wasn't a thread I started. :smilelol5:

I took just over 2 weeks for my pin number and I was going crazy on day 3. Now im stuck on processing application, that is a bit better but not by much. I had a post and someone mailed in 2 days before me, he got approved already and Im still processing. Must be quite a bit of applications they deal with daily.

Hang in there, its going to be worth the wait.

You can email them at chl@txdps.state.tx.us

If you get the pin, then you will be like the rest of those waiting for it to turn from "Processing" to "Approved"(hopefully or incomplete information)
Without the pin, you won't be able to check the website, which is a VERY addictive thing. I would be that on any given day, I checked 20 times, just in case.

So knowing now (that I was approved), the daily checking would have probably been good to avoid LOL
