Can you recommend a Mechanic in Pearland or Friendswood Area

Greetings. Hopefully this is the correct place to post this.

I've always done the maintenance and light to medium repairs on my truck, but due to age, wear and tear, etc I've got some engine repairs coming up that are beyond my abilities.

I'm looking for an honest, trustworthy, competent mechanic in the southeast metro Houston area (Friendswood, Alvin, Pearland, Webster, etc) to do the repairs. Since I haven't been in the area that long I figured I'd ask the community here for some input.

Do you know a guy whose done some pretty extensive work to your car or truck? Have you had a long, healthy relationship with your mechanic (beyond oil changes and coolant flushes)?
If so, please let me know where I can take my truck for the TLC it needs.

Thanks.

PQC.

BC auto repair in Alvin is top notch. Superior Automotive in Alvin. I use them both. John Rezek at Superior is the smartest mechanic I ever knew. He has amazed me with his knowledge more than a few times. BC is a little bit bigger operation. They do alignments and state inspections, Superior does not. Alvin doesn't have much but it has 2 auto repair places that are better than good.

Benson's Wheel Alignment on Hwy 3 just south of NASA Rd 1. I've brought several vehicles to them and they always fixed it right, for a fair price, and if the problem returned, they repaired it on their own dime. I've had great success with them.
