I'm at the workforce building for orientation for my new job and I'm amused by the sign on the door in English and Spanish saying that the workforce doesn't allow weapons of any kind on the premises regardless if you have a license or not. Thought it was funny and I'll try to grab a pic on the way home. If this is a double post I'm sorry iPhone being whacky

It's funny because it has no teeth or claws. Ever seen a toothless, clawless lion? I haven't, but I bet he'd be funny-looking.

That's a lot of effort to go through to make a sign that totally does not conform to the legal requirements. I can see how it is relatively easy to order a generic "No Guns" sign, but to make your own pointless sign is a new low.

Wording probably chosen by a CHL holder who was told by a supervisor to post a sign (to make sheep customers more comfortable.)

Sign was a notice to customers, not directed to CHLs.

Since they don't allow "any weapons," I wonder what they use to cut paper etc .... Parts of Australia have lots of scissor murders since they lock up all the good guys' guns. Since FANGS mentioned teeth and claws Do all the ladies there have to trim their fingernails/claws really short? I heard about a guy who bit another's ear off once ... are teeth allowed? What do they do if they need a pen? An ink pen in the eyeball might be deadly. Is it a "paperless office?" A papercut across the juggular would cause a real mess ... I gather from the sign that no 1911s are allowed if you don't have a license.

Usually gun busters have Beretta 92's. They are allowed at workforce

This is like any other non-valid sign, CHLers don't pay attention to it unless they state it properly or ask you to leave if they discover you have a gun.

Funny. The English says "no weapons" but the Spanish says "no firearms".

To be completely correct, the Spanish translation literally says "Workforce Solutions does not permit no firearm". So with the double negative do they require a firearm? Notice the singular noun in Spanish, also. Do they mean you're not allowed to bring one, but can bring more than one? Or, to be literal, you're not allowed not to bring one firearm?
