We had moose in our backyard frequently when we lived in Alaska. Never had any calves though. Cute.

What young one doesn't like playing in the sprinklers on a hot summer's day? Cute video. Thanks for sharing!

I have never seen one up close, but it's amazing the size of a moose.

This poor scan is one of the "smaller" ones in our yard. Told the wife, "NO FLASH!" but I think she did it anyway.

When in Boy Scouts many many moons ago I went to the high adventure base in Eli, MN and canoed the Boundary Waters in Quetico Provincial Park in Canada for a little over a week. We had a BIG bull moose swim across in front of the canoes about 50ft away (we stopped to let him cross and so he wouldn't try to swamp a canoe.) That was the first time I had not had a fence between me and one. Needless to say it was kinda humbling to see how much bigger than the canoe the moose was!!
Then, having a very large bear in camp two nights later was even more interesting.

I've seen far too many of them far too close up. They make deer seem like geniuses as far as crossing roads goes. You do NOT want to hit one in a car. They are so tall that you hit them in the knees and the body goes through the windshield.
I once saw a young one come running out of the woods, down a small incline, hit the icy road and fall down on its knees and slide across the road. Luckily I saw this in my rear-view mirror - I wish I had a video of it.

Adorable! The videographer seems to have added the track to drown out her and her children's comments. Ironic considering the song chosen.

I was also amazed by the size of the moose!

Cute video but I don't think I would want them playing in my yard. I might come outside and mama moose get mad
