Need a Holster Suggestion - Calling all Skinny Guys

I was doing a bit of "mexican carry" around the house trying to find the best place to wear it. I finally figured that my right hip was the best place since I wear an overshirt with the front unbuttoned most of the time. I'm a fairly skinny guy, 6ft 160lbs, and I have a hard time with the butt or rear frame creating a print on my shirt. This is fine with the overshirt, but if I decided to wear a t-shirt alone one day this could become a problem. Is there anyone about my stature with a recommendation for a good holster? Preferrably an IWB or high-ride holster around the $50 mark. Was thinking about a smart carry for t-shirt days, just not sure about the other. Would be nice to find a single holster that would work for both.

Thanks

Not a skinny guy, but not too terribly fat either - ~6ft, 220lbs. I'd say I'm stocky.

With my Tucker Answer holster, I can walk around in a sleeveless t-shirt and my wife has no idea I'm carrying it(and this is close proximity in the apartment).

About twice as much as your $$$ range, but worth every cent. I wore mine all day today empty @ work(waiting for CHL but can't carry at work anyhow) and I forgot it was there most of the day.

Don Hume is a great choice for inexpensive leather....I have one and really like it. What kind of gun are you carrying? Somone might have something lying around to offer you.

I am far from a skinny guy, but at the beginning of my holster buying life....I wish I would have purchased a Don Hume until I saved the money for a Milt Sparks in my preferred flavor.

IWB Kydex is another story...not my style, but obviously there are some great ones out there. I see some of the guys carrying in Comp-tac IWB and they look very natural and comfortable.

Thank you jbird, I resemble that remark. I too started out w/ Don Hume PCCH for my 1st carry. Ruger P85. I am no skinny either but had no trouble w. conceal. Now a Comp_Tac Gurkha for summer carry. I am going to try OWB as cool weather comes. I have a Mitch Rosen Custom job for my Kimber Pro ll.

I'm 5'8" and weigh about 145. I carry IWB and waist size is 33. My holster of choice is the Brommeland MaxCon V. The service grade (less boning) less boning is $65 I think. The premium grade is around $100. It works great. The service grade is all you need unless you just want the greater detailing.
