Thinking of a XD in .40 again

I miss my XD .40 serviced model, so I am looking at picking another one up. Any reason to go to the XDM or maybe a 1911 style .40?

I had a XDsc and now an XDm both in 9mm. Liked both. The XDm is a bit nicer IMHO. I traded in the XDsc for it. Now I miss it. I guess a girl needs both so I'll get another XDsc when the opportunity comes along

I have had both, ended up keeping the XDM40 mostly for the backstrap. With the small backstrap on, I feel like it fits my medium-sized hands better. Cannot go wrong with any XD product, most bang for your buck on the market. IMO.

Even compared to my Browning Hi-Power in .40, I truly do love my XDm over all my other semis. You can't go wrong with it.

I have had a 4" XD45 for several years, love it. Just bought a XDsc40 and I love it too. Get the XD40. It does not care if you only clean it once in a while, it wants ammo in the right caliber past that it eats what ever you feed it. My experiance is that every time you pull the trigger it goes bang. Cant beat an XD.

All the XD family seem to be excellent weapons.
I prefer the XD(M) for the higher mag capacity and slightly better ergonomics, especially the interchangeable backstrap.

Son has the M & Son in law has the XD. I have shot both. The trigger on the M is better & the backstraps are very nice.
Well worth the little extra when you divide the extra $$$s by how long you will own it.

The XDs are nice but as stated the XDM is nicer. I like the XDM because of grip feel and capacity. The barrel and trigger are upgraded over the standard XD.

I've got an XDm in .40 S&W that I've been thinking of selling. I bought it about a year and a half ago, and it has maybe 500 rounds through it without a hiccup, and I've still got all the accessories and case and paperwork and stuff. I don't really carry it all that much, since I bought my Kimber 1911. If you're interested let me know...we might be able to work out a deal. I also have a Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe for it as well as a bunch of .40 S&W ammo.

If I sell it, I'll probably buy another polymer pistol (another Springfield or maybe a Glock) in either .45 ACP or 10mm.

I have owned 4 XD40's one of them a service and the other 3 subs. I kept selling them and missing them and buying another. My xd40sc is my edc and I'm not going to change. Although, I do have a 442 which I like to carry also for quick and easy carry. Lets just say I love the XD40's.

The XD(M) .40, at least for me, has since day one had the most natural feel of any gun I've ever held. It is very reliable, and as previously stated, goes "bang" every time.
