Which airport?

If it's at Carswell, not a snowball's chance.

About halfway down there's a 30.06 notice :???:

I'm going anyway, but... oh well.

Is it on the property of Alliance Airport? ...because if it is the 30.06 notice is not valid since the airport is owned by the City of Fort Worth.

FWIW, I have carried there for years. There are plenty of steely eyed, machine gun totin' guys in black, but I have never garnered even a second glance. DEEEEEP concealment would be advisable IMHO.

The tarmac of an airport is considered a "secure area". I would not recommend carrying there! I believe that would be a Federal Offense.

Secure area is defined by access control. Tarmacs are not inherently "secure areas". I have a friend who flies out of there regularly and carries with him.

We're at the show now. No metal detectors that I see, but they are searching bags and there are 30.06 signs at the VIP entrance.

Bringing this topic up as I would like to go to the show this year.

So, on their website under entry restriction they even posted the language from 30.06.
http://www.allianceairshow.com/NeedToKn ... tions.aspx

But if it is on the airport property which I believe it is then they are not allowed to post since as someone said here the airport is owned by the city of FW.

So what's the deal? How come no one ever challenges their 30.06 on city property? As I read up in the thread they do have 30.06 posted on the grounds.

How would you suggest this challenge occur?
