Several months ago, I went in to Taco Cabana in Lewisville for breakfast. The entry doors were plastered with a legal 30.06 sign in English and Spanish. I sent the store and their corporate office one of the Texas State Rifle Association No Guns = No $$$$ cards thinking I had just wasted some postage and envelopes. Today, I went in again and low and behold the sign was gone and replace with a more proper Unlicensed possession of a firearm... sign. I guess these little cards do carry some weight.

Sometimes No Guns = No $$$$ means something to a business.
Sometimes they "get it"

I used to frequent the store on Main St. quite often until they 30.06'd the place, while still having the "unlicensed possession" sign inside. I think the 30.06 sign was up for a year or two before it was taken down. I thought that was about a year ago, but I don't get up there much these days.

I also used to get over to the store by Vista Ridge, but don't remember ever seeing a 30.06 sign there. Either way, my daughter was quite upset when I refused to go there after picking her up and was glad when we started to go back. She always asked why and I told her. I'd like to think that she understood, she seemed to, but at the ripe old age of 8y you never know.

Thanks for the post. I might check out our local one soon; I've never bothered to enter the parking lot b/c I thought they were all posted.

That's really cool. I'm glad that common sense wins over ignorance every once in a while!

what tsra card are you talking about? i want to mail those to other 30.06 posted businesses instead of my own handwritten letters since what you've done works. thanks.

While I have not seen the 30.06 sign anywhere yet (other than gun shows - still drives me nuts!), I will certainly have the cards handy when I come across one!

they confirmed my order and showed "3" available (i assume 3 packs of 50 cards)..
I wonder of 2 others ordered the remaining ones after the link was posted this morning?

I started to order one, but it appears they only accept paypal, which I prefer not to use. There were 2 available at the time.

We had lunch at the one next to UNT in Denton yesterday. They had the correct TABC sign but nothing else.

I did use paypal for mine, but I think that was only the "preferred option", I think I saw, on the left'ish side of the page, other forms of payment....

I don't know about the left side of the screen, but during checkout, it skips right over the "form of payment" step. Paypal is automatically selected, and I saw no way to select anything else.
