First Carry with Crossbreed IWB

My wonderful wife ordered my Crossbreed IWB and a Crossbreed belt for my birthday. Today I wore it on a long drive with no problem. I did have to move the clips to accomodate for the full size Glock Model 22 that I have. I plan to get a compact Glock 23 which the holster will also accomodate. This should make concealment even easier. I would like to thank the board members who steered me to the Crossbreed website and spoke so highly of the product. I would like to ask the members if any of you have tried the belly band type or the shirt type holsters? I would appreciate whatever feedback you can provide.

When you get the clips set just right, you can carry a full-size Glock in it no problem. I've shot about 5 IDPA matches with G17 and Crossbreed and often just carry the gun to/from match holstered up and ready to go. I have other options, so it's not my "go to" CC gun, but it carries well under all but the tightest fitting t-shirts.

I've got a Crossbreed for my Rock Island 1911 and Ruger SR9c, love both of them. Get the clips adjusted to your preference and you're gonna be very happy with that holster. Enjoy!

:iagree: get the clips right and you forget your carrying. I bought one for my 5" 1911 and carry all day, and I'm "soft" around the middle.

I have crossbreed 's in mini and super tucks for ruger LCP,Kahr PM 9 ,Kimber Crimson Carry Ultra and Glock 33 and love them.
I seem to carry my Kahr PM 9 most the time though.I am pretty active and do a lot of bending etc.Just works out best for me.

I have the same holster at the top of my list for Christmas. Lets just hope the wife will just call the order and read the specifics I wrote down in detail.

Hopefully Santa will deliver mine as well. I have also read nothing but good comments on Crossbreed Supertucks.

Congrats

I have a mini tuck for my Kel Tec.380, love it. Have a super tuck for Glock 19, love it also. Adjustment of hooks is key and having a good belt is also key. Even with that being said your wardrobe is key to comfort of use. I tend to wear my paints a little to tight, not by choice just a little extra holiday pounds, I found it much more comfortable without the extra weight. I'm not fat, just got a little extra in the belly right now.

I have a belly band holster. I use it occasionally. Pros: you can wear it in any number of positions; hip, chest, back, chest. It's good for testing various configurations to see what you're most comfortable with. It conceals quite well. Cons: it only has one position, parallel to the body. This makes it uncomfortable in some configurations. E.g. on the hip, it will dig in to your side when you sit down. Also, in a high stress situation it's not going to be easy to get to, although it's not much harder than my CompTac MTAC when it's tucked.

I own 2 or 3 belly bands. There are fans of belly bands. I'm not one, I last tried all 3 I own in the 1980s. I tried them on again last week. I put them back in the holster suitcase in my closet. I keep them in case I change my mind some day. I can see a use for them, but I prefer my IWB holster and belt.

I like the belly band for keeping a small revolver on me when in night clothes around the house or when wearing clothes such as sweats that don't have a belt. It has it's uses.
