14 Point shot NW of Junction. Taxidermist verified his age at 6.5 years. A VERY old deer for that part of the country. Shot with a .300 WSM, Browning A bolt.

Thanks. It's a 640 acre low fence lease that my family has leased for 35 years.

Not too shabby at all. If only I could get even a few days off to get in the woods this season....

This one went to all sausage (1/2 smoked, 1/2 Summer) except the backstraps of course. My wife also shot an 8 pt. that will be supplying the hamburger. Heading back next weekend for some does to stock us up on roasts/steaks.

Now I really envy you, or at least what's soon to be in your freezer.
