I did not want to hijack another thread so here we go Several years ago my son bought me some targets that I have really come to like I am now out but will be getting some more tomorrow I use a target that is about 18" square and has 5 small (5") red targets on the page This gives me a series of small targets on 1 page to shoot at and can be seen at 20 yards

What do you use?

I usually switch between these three.

Ever since GigAg04 posted the "dots" target I've been using it.

It depends.

For precision practice, copy paper with 6 3" dots from my printer.
For multi-shot strings, copy paper with 2 4" dots.
For IDPA practice, construction paper with 8" circles traced with pen stapled to old shot up IDPA cardboard targets.
For 25 yard distance work, NRA B-8 targets printed on 11X17 paper on my printer.
For photo realistic targets, I like these from Letargets.com
http://www.letargets.com/estylez_item.aspx?item=MT1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.letargets.com/estylez_item.aspx?item=PHT-ST" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

For qualifications, I use a stencil to make QIT-99 targets out of construction paper.
http://www.letargets.com/estylez_item.aspx?item=QIT-99" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Construction paper is cheap.
Copy paper is cheap.
I'm cheap.
There's a pattern here.

They're available in red or green, also.

Whatever is free with the lane. :mrgreen:

Although I usually bring splatter targets to stick onto the free one once it starts getting shredded.

I use mostly those orange Birchwood Casey Target Spots, the one inch at 100 yards and the two inch at 200 yards.
I stick them on the back of a B27 targets...I can get like 15 dots on one and don't have to go down range so much.
If i am just plinking i print out those online free targets...differant ones usually

Sometimes we take those orange Avery Label "dots" from office supply store/dept., with us to stick on paper plates, often we forget. 100, or 300 targets, for a few bucks, is in our price range.

My favorite targets still have to be tin cans ... the sound of them hitting the ground reminds me of my childhood. By the way for target practice in my living room I like old pizza boxes and my Taurus airsoft.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. But I use the dots to cover up the holes, makes it easier to see what I've already shot.

You're not the only one who does that either. I always keep a roll of masking tape in my range bag, for patching holes in targets.

Sometimes, I print out some of these "diagnostic targets": http://zero7one.blogspot.com/2010/09/le ... s-for.html
