I hate this guy. He's a complete moron, and this interview gets away from him at the end to where he's left with nothing... lol

Edit: Not sure why it won't embed the video... here's the link.

Joe Zamudio was great. I was in agreement with the interviewer about getting more help for the mentally ill, but then he had to go on an anti-gun rant. :banghead:

Anyone else notice that the Arizona shooter resembles Uncle Fester from the Adams Family? :headscratch

Yes, yes I did.

(Said the hair impaired man that gets his head shaved to avoid being mistaken for George Kastanza from Seinfield)

On the plus side, the ladies often compliment my luscious eyebrows, of which the badguy has none!

I think he (the maniac) was going for the Travis Bickle (Taxi Driver) look but the razor got away from him. :coolgleamA:

Another MSNBC talking head, ultra-liberal Rachel Maddow, spun the Zamudio interview in an entirely different way, highlighting the part when Zamudio - partially interrupted by Schultz talking over him - says "I almost shot the man with the gun"

This was part of a nearly hour-long anti-gun magnum opus on her show last night (yeah yeah, why am I watching MSNBC? Spying on the enemy :thumbs2: )

Just another reason why I don't watch MSNBC or CNN, its the normal liberal bull spin.

Old Ed didn't start out well when his first example of people needing help with mental illness was "Veterans". And just because he's got some long guns and is willing to kill Bambi doesn't make him a qualified opinion on handguns and self defense. Obviously he'd be the guy running away from the gunfire and that's ok. Just don't take the tools away from the good guys that might run towards it.

Oh... and... of course... Yet another excellent example of MSNBC "impartial" journalism. :banghead:

At least he was smart enough not to try and make an example out of Joe.

I haven't seen the other slant, but I was going to comment on this after hearing him make that comment. I always use different scenarios in my CHL classes, and ask my students "What would you do?" I try to pound in he fact that you can't just run up on a scene like this or any other and start shooting people that are holding a gun on someone. You don't have enoug information. Thankfully Zamudio kept from shooting. It would have made a double whammy against the 2nd.

I will definitely be using this in my next class.

I would also like to say that I commend all the heroes that morning. Especially the little old lady that grabbed the extra magazine the shooter was reaching for, AND she called it a MAGAZINE! :patriot:

Forgive me for posting the obvious, but we really need a way to prevent the mental ill from getting others types of weapons too. Like cars, sharpened sticks, gas cans and matches...

Did I hear right? I'd like to see Ed's 10Ga. shotgun. Wonder if he uses it for dove hunting?

MSNBC talking heads are not allowed to shoot doves - only hawks :evil2:
