Can I ask why you're selling such a new gun?

It's tempting me as I'm in the market for my first 1911, but wasn't sure about going .40s&w.

The reason I'm tempted is that I have about 3000 rounds of .40 and none of .45 ACP. :)

I will tell you first hand... JDRFL1 is a top notch guy! You can buy with confidence from him. If you have 3000 rounds of .40 and wanting a great 1911 - this is your opportunity to buy it at a great price.

The only reason I'm selling it is because my wife finally gave me the green light to get a boat and so I did. Now just feeling a little guilty about all the money I've been spending. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. If you are close enough I would be more than happy to meet you at a range and let you put a few rounds down the pipe.
I at first was on the fence about going with a .40 but since I already have some .45's and the price if .40 mo is a little less expensive I figured I would try it out.

This really is a great gun.

Thanks Longhorn_92!

For the handful of people that have messaged me asking if I will take $900.00. The answer is now YES.

Thanks,

How many mags? Are they easy to find?

It only came with 1 mag. I haven't used it enough to justify purchasing additional ones. Im not sure if they are hard to find or not. I would think not since STI is manufactured here in Texas.

FWIW:
I contacted STI and asked if the warranty would transfer if buying an STI pistol from the original owner. This is the information I received in reply.

STI has no written warranty of any kind, however we will take care of any problem you may have with quality or workmanship for the life of the pistol. We will not cover finish wear, rust, improper function due to installation of aftermarket parts, damage due to improper use or bad hand loads. If you buy the pistol and have any problems just let me know and we will do what we can to take of it.

Sounds to me like STI believes very strong in their product and is going to stand behind it for life.

And they are right here in Texas and from what I've been told by my local gun shop is that they are extremely quick to get things repaired or parts out.
