thats the perfect weapon to use before boarding a vessel, they stopped the engines and most likely blinded everyone on board

I know, huh? I was thinking a Somalian pirate boat.....with the captured pirates shackled to their stations....would be the most realistic training aid.

Wonder if a laser, fired at the hull below water line, could make 2 holes. One reflected up above water line to allow air out, the other below water line to let water in by reflection and refraction splitting the beam. You'd have to line the pool cue up just right for that shot ... but boy would it be fun if possible.

srsly, I wonder if maritime law states that you have to use the "blue" laser if you're a good guy, and the "red" laser if you're a bad guy...
