And yet the main (lame) stream media gives him a pass. If that had been "W", they would have been all over the story about what an idiot he is.

I find it incredible that this president can screw up so many times and hardly anyone calls him on it. If he had an R next to his name the roasting would never ever end.

Or they would portray him as an uninformed bumpkin. In this case the supposedly suave and worldly President gets a pass.

He probably thought they were playing it as background music for him... In his mind it was "My Country, 'Tis of Thee".
He had no idea what year it was... how would he have any idea what country he was in?

I think you are on to something there, Andy. The Brits may simply not like him and wanted to make him look like a fool to the British public. It also appears to me that his gaffes may not have been accidental. Didn't he get snubbed in 2008 by the Brits?
