Well, there is this much going for it: Since he didn't specify ".22LR" and since .223 is, by definition, "22 caliber" . . .

Let me know what method you used. I have some AR-15 parts coming that may need to be "stealthed" into the house.

Will this really solve a made up problem other than appeasing the anti-gunners? Let's see, a person can go to 5 or 6 gun stores in town and make one purchase at each, and then go south 120 miles to two other towns and spend the afternoon going to 5 or 6 more stores. By the end of the day they will have a truck load. Nothing solved.

on Wed. July 13, by a vote of 25 to 16, the committee approved Rep. Denny Rehberg’s (R-Mont.) amendment to the 2012 Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies appropriations bill, prohibiting the BATFE from requiring firearm dealers in states bordering Mexico to file reports on certain rifle sales. The Justice Department had announced earlier in the week that the BATFE would soon begin requiring dealers to file the reports on individuals who buy two or more detachable-magazine semi-automatic rifles larger than .22 caliber within a period of five business days.
