Plans for my Talo Night Commander

Post by gigag04 »

Spoke to some incredible men this morning.

Spoke with Bob Rodgers at http://www.rodgerspistolsmithing.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; about doing a build on the Colt Talo Night Commander that isn't selling. He doesn't do bobtails so he sent me to his friend, Chuck Rogers at http://www.rogersprecision.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for the external mill work. Then later I'll send it to Bob to finish the build.

Gun goes out in 7 weeks for the bobtail, cut golfball frontstrap and MSH, and aggressive carry melt. Thinking about adding golfball cuts along the top of the slide, and fitting and golf balling a grip safety. Everything will be bead blasted for a matte stainless finish.

Haven't planned out the internal build with Bob yet, but splitting it up makes it rather affordable.

Pretty stoked. I don't want to steal these guys pictures but check out their sites. They are well known all over for their work. The two Commanders on Rogers Precision site are stunning.

Both of these guys do fantastic work!
Doesn't sound like you are saving for your house anymore if you can afford these guys! "rlol"
Guns are like parachutes, if your ever in a situation that you need one and you dont have one, you'll probably never need one again.

We close Friday. And doing it in increments makes it way more affordable than one would think.
