Watched "Modern Family" for the First Time

Tonight I watched "Modern Family" for the first time. And the last! I didn't see much if anything funny, I guess it was too socially correct!
Or, I grew up watching too many Three Stodges where it was really funny. Steve Martin could not have even saved it. Am I missing something here?

Typically the wife and I watch it. It has is moments that I asked "Why did they have to throw that in?" Others times I get a laugh out if it. Didn't catch the season premiere last night since I was at a consignment event for baby/infant products. That was brutal!!!

Show was better when it started. Last night was not that good.

I've caught episodes in the past that were hilarious but last night's pretty much tanked.
