curious why the Austrian proof marks? something special about those guns? I actually owned one for a time, but traded it for a different gun. seemed the same as any other Glock

The Austrian proofed Gen 3's don't show up everyday. Not that they are more valuable, just a little more unique in my opinion.

I think you may have the wrong forum in which to reach out.
Glocktalk.com may be a much better venue as the majority of posters there....own Glocks.
Having said that, most who own the OD dont wanna sell them...and the ones who do? They want way more than the asking price. Last year, I picked up an OD G33 for $419 shipped. Felt like I got a steal. As of late, the new ones are going for a couple hundred over original cost. Picking up a G19 aint gonna be easy.
Good luck.

You went from one hard to find Glock to another hard to find Glock. Good luck on either but most people with them think they are gold. Gunbroker has a few ODs.

I've been looking for hours a day on every place that sells Glocks to find the G19OD and still nothing, If anyone can help me out in anyway or has any advice I would gratefully appreciate it. I know there has to be some stock or a G19OD on a shelf some where I just hope I can obtain one.
Maybe a Glock 23 OD?...

The OD that seem to be easier to find are the GAP SIG and 10mm ones. Not sure if you want to venture into those calibers. Go to glocktalk.com , sometimes you will see people posting about locations of them.

There are some on GB such as
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIt ... =265768763" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Also The Houston Gun Forum Store had a pair of them for sale together last week so you might want to check if they are still available and could be split up.
