I was just wondering if any of you out there are carrying one of the new S&W M&Ps and if so what are you carrying it in and would you mind posting a picture or two? I am a dyed in the wool 1911 guy but I just bought three new M&Ps, 9mm, .40S&W, 9mm compact because they are the first polymer guns I have ever liked and I will be purchasing the .45acp version with thumb safety as soon as it's available as well. When the .45 version becomes available I can see me wanting to carry this lighter weight higher capacity package from time to time and I would like to know what the experiences of those currently carrying them are and what leather you chose. Thanks.

Tolly, I closed out the year with 13,000+ through my 9mm and 9,000+ through my .40 M&P. No problems with either. The M&P is a great gun and developing a strong following amoung active shooters. Good ergonomics, great reliability and fun to shoot. Enjoy yours.

I carry mine daily in a Comp-Tac C-Tac holster and the thing dissapears. I'll try to get a photo of it posted.

I carry my M&P 9mm (basically the same gun) in a Comp-tac Infidel (Thanks, longtooth!)

I have the belt loop jobby on order to make the infadel tuckable, but I'll try and post pictures as well.

Thanks guys. I will also be shooting my M&P 9mm in IPSC production class and carrying it in a Blade-Tech DOH Sting Ray Loop holster for gaming. I just bought five extra mags and boy do I wish they were cheaper!!!

Tolly, I recommend that you contact Dan Burwell at http://www.burwellgunsmithing.com/. He is a genius with the M&P and does a fantastic 3.5 pound trigger.
