Greetings--

Santa brought me a Comp-Tac Settable Cant OWB holster for my G34. The paddle attachment has a 1.75" gap for the belt. The belt attachment as a 1.5" width.

The padle slides up and around a lot on my belt, making it unusable IMO.

Does anyone know if this is normal for this model holster' paddle attachment ?

Thanks--

Wait, after reading your post a couple times, I am editing mine...

Ok, you're using the PADDLE attachment, which does NOT go between your belt and pants, the paddle goes in your pants. Paddle, jeans, belt, holster, gun. So the tangs on the paddle that keep the holster in place when you draw should be pushing up on your pants under the bottom edge of your belt.

.....what he said......

I have the same holster for my pistol but use the belt attachment. It's very comfortable and stays put. I have the paddle option with it and it works as HV described. The only thing I had an issue with at first was the tension adjustment. I had to use longer adjustment screws until it fit to the pistol. Loctite is a must on those screws.

Thank you......I read this last night and for the life of me could not figure out what was going on.

Piney- I did the same thing once.....I know it does not work well!

I've heard that Comp-Tac has a rather liberal exchange policy. If it isn't all beat-up, they will likely let you exchange it for something more to your liking.
