Another reason I'm glad I don't live there: http://bit.ly/zrznwI" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

(A quote from the article referenced above - written by Tetiana Anderson in NY1.com)
New technology being tested by the New York City Police Department may allow officers to see concealed weapons from up to 13 feet away.

"It's called Terra-hertz imaging detection, and it’s essentially radiation that's emitted from the body that’s blocked by certain objects—a gun, for instance," said Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.

Teddy - add me to that list!

Just for laughs, it would be funny to see how many CHLs are carrying on Texas streets. Probably enough to send some Yankee liberals into orbit! Seriously though, I can only imagine the fallout from setting one of these cameras up in a high crime area where it might actually be useful. Unfair discrimination, etc. The focus will probably turn to catching out of state CHL holders in tourist areas who didn't bother to check NY gun laws.
