Ok so I log on online and it says this each time. I have called and they told me to check back in a week. I have not seen any movement at all after 2 full weeks. Is this a normal deal or am I impatient lol. Hoping both myself and my wife get ours soon. She is active duty and we are scheduled for a transfer soon

It took about 2 weeks from when USPS confirmation showed delivered to when my online status updated. I'm currently on the Background Check - Under Review stage hoping it doesn't stay there very long. My wife and I are also moving in about 4 weeks.

Checked again this morning nothing new. Boo. Mailed Monday 4/23/12.

as you are just at the 2 week timing, it should change this week.
If I remember right, most of the changes that I saw when I was in waiting were noticed on Wednesday and Sunday mornings.

I am trying my hardest to be patient. I will check later this week.

I was wondering if there was a day of the week that changes occurred more frequently on. I know I went to packet received on a Wednesday and than Background Review on Wednesday, so hopefully I will have good news tomorrow and go to Background Complete.

Well my application has been received I am curious though. It says application received but has a yellow highlight and a triangle next to it. Everything else is green except for background check and license printed. I guess that's still progress though.

Thats what you want it to look like. Even after it shows mailed you still have a yellow highlight and triangel next to application received. Prepare for anywhere from 15-20 days in background check on average.

So fifteen to twenty days for background check and then next step is to print and mail the license about how long for that. They told me not to expect it till middle of June. We will see. Now I am just trying to decide if i want to carry the g26 or my p238. That's another story altogether.

If yall would not check the site for at least 50 days, you will keep so much of your sanity.

I must say I wouldn't be this anxious about it normally. Its just that we are getting transferred to NOLA at the end of the month. My wife is active duty USCG. I have decided that we would just go ahead and send the change of mailing address in now. That way no more worries. I was really hoping to get it before the end of the month but it will probably be the first of second week of June.
