This sign is at the Babies R Us at I45 and El Dorado in the Clear Lake Area. Pretty sure its not legal but I wanted a second opinion.

:iagree: probably a sign that they use in stores in several states. It would be enforceable in most other states. TX is one of the few states that requires and spells out a specific requirement for signage that is favorable to the CCer.

...a sly grin as you walk past it is acceptable, but please don't educate them...one day the gangs will find out how much we'll pay for a disposable diaper and then we'll need to be armed there!!!

Completely legal to post the sign. No smoking applies to everyone. No guns applies to some people. No pets applies to some pets but not service animals. Etc.

I guess I should have clarified. I know they can post whatever they want but I wasn't sure if I had to abide by it or not. I'm inclined not to abide by it anyways because too many dirt bags prey on people with small children.

I certainly would carry right on past the sign, as if it wasn't there, as in all actuality, it does not exist (for a CHL Holder)

Carry on!
