Bought a New Taurus 85 UL Snub

Well I went to Academy to get some ammo for my XDm and I saw a Taurus 85 on sale for $249.99 for the grey one (or whatever the color is called its not he stainless steel finish).
I have not read up on these guns at all but for that price I could not pass it up for $249.99. I brought it home, cleaned up and oiled it very well and its working as smooth as it can. I have not shot it yet but I was looking at a S&W 637 model and when I saw this I went for it.
I know the quality may not be as good as the S&W but I like it so far.

Congratulations Daniel. I hope it works out for you. Make sure you shoot plenty of ammo for practice and to establish the reliabililty for self defense use.

I didn't have much luck with my 85 SSUL. I hope yours goes a lot better!
You did get it at a great price!!
I will warn you before hand, there is a reason a gun weighs more then 13 ounces!
Some 38 special + P is pretty intense!
I even replaced the grips so I could get a full grip on it but it still felt like I was getting hit in the hand each time I fired it.

I don't plan on using +P rounds, just regular 38s will do for me.
