Finally after about two weeks,DPS has updated my screen....Too bad it was on a Friday (theyre off on sat) and TOOOOO bad Monday is Labor Day....I probably wont see another update until Wed. ,BUT HOPEFULLY I do see a POSITIVE one...

I don't know if you will, but I have seen updates on Saturday and Sunday mornings in my own renewal applications.

I now realize that my previous post was a somewhat cruel one. Now instead of just enjoying your long weekend without worrying about it, you'll be looking for status updates. Sorry!

Try not to worry about it and enjoy some barbecue or something!

I'm right there with you, my status updated on 9/4 that my Background Check was under review and it's been there ever since. I called them today to see what the status was and they told me that my background check was complete and everything was done except they needed to scan in my CHL-6 Form. Didn't seem to make sense that that wasn't done yet but they indicated the Background check was done even though my status said otherwise. I bet yours is done they just haven't reflected it yet on the site,

I hope you have a good update this morning. I figure I'm a day behind you.

Right there with ya, buddy... It took two and a half weeks for my status to update after I finished my fingerprints and sent in all my paperwork (fingerprinted and mailed papers off on 8/23).

I checked last Friday, the 14th, right before I left work in the afternoon... no dice. On a whim, I checked back Saturday afternoon and it had been updated.

Now I've got all green checks on the paperwork and the background check is under review. Hoping it's speedy, but preparing for the long wait.
