I carry a Surefire Executive Elite (E2E). It is big enough to get the job done, but small enough that it is not in the way.

Streamlight Stylus. Anything bigger and it would be left at home half the time.

Super compact bright led and runs off basic AA batteries... No $4 cr123's in my house anymore. I just get the Costco bulk 48 pack of AA's for the price of 6 cr123's.

The only thing wrong with that idea is that AA/AAA batteries do not have a 10+ year shelf life and if left in the unit for too long will leak and ruin the device.
My CompM4 sight uses one AA and if it does not leak (which it will) within 8+ years, it will still work even with the sight left on! But I change it every couple of years anyway.

Yes but with most high power lights the batteries only last 1-5 hors any way...my bulk batteries expire in 3-5 years. No big deal for me.AA BATTERIES ARE ALSO MORE VERSATILE. Cheap mag lite- emergency weather radio etc...

I just bought one of these a couple months ago. VERY high powered, very small, takes regular AAA battery, and I also really like that it has 3 different light levels.

Its come in handy several times already. Although, the one HUGE disadvantage of it is that it is so dang small that I've "lost" it twice.

I have EDC the Streamlight Stylus for years - good, relieable light for the small size. I have given probably six of them as gifts.

This is my EDC light. Love it! I only wish I got the non tactical version as the tactical version is a little annoying to use for everyday. Not being able to flip through the different modes with out changing the pre set modes can be difficult. Other than that it is great!

SureFire L5. Outdated, no strobe function. But it can take a Humvee rolling over it.
