Even better would be to swap my G22 .40 upper and a three 15-round .40 cal mags for a G17 9mm upper and a three 17-round 9mm mags.
That's the short version...
The longer version is that through a series of trades and parts swaps, I started off with a G3 Glock 17 that I ended up putting a G22 upper on, and having a mag funnel and grip work done...then I decided I want to actually CARRY a Glock sometimes, so I bought a Gen2 Glock 22 (no finger grooves, etc.). Then I decided I want to shoot the Gen2 as an SSP in IDPA matches, and I'd like to do it in 9mm rather than .40....by making an upper swap for one of my G22 uppers, I can mix and match calibers and categories...Confusing enough? Interested?

If you're not familiar with upper-swapping in Glocks, the .40 cal G22 upper will fit on pretty much any full size Glock 3-pin frame...including all Gen3 and Gen4 Glock 17's, as well as MOST 2nd generation Glock 17's (post .40 S&W introduction).
I figure I'm not the only one who's ever had a full-size Glock that wants to shoot the "Other" caliber, so I figure I'll put the offer out here.
Thanks for looking!
