Anyone read any pro-gun comments from your sheriff? I'm thinking if contacting mine asking for his support against obamas gun control agenda.

I'm glad to know there's at least one good retired BATFE agent out there. I've got 2 that are regular patients I transport and both are wacked out liberal loons.carlson1 wrote:A dear friend Sheriff Larry Smith, Smith County Sheriff's Dept. Also a retired BATFE Agent.
Thanks for the list. Very glad to see Sheriff Box (Collin County) on there. I just sent him a note of appreciation.carlson1 wrote:Not all Texas Sheriff's, but Sheriff's Nationwide.

Sheriff Box,
I just wanted to thank you for standing strong for our constitution against unlawful gun control measures. Rest assured, this is being noticed by lawful gun owners who vote. Please let me know if there is ever a need to write anyone within our local government.

There are a lot of Californians on that list.carlson1 wrote:Not all Texas Sheriff's, but Sheriff's Nationwide.
Yup. Californians in general get a bad rap, but there are many pro gun sheriff's out there. Now you have to get out of Southern CA to find them and stay clear of San Francisco, but there are 57 counties. Some do issue chl/ccw permits as well.WildBill wrote:There are a lot of Californians on that list.carlson1 wrote:Not all Texas Sheriff's, but Sheriff's Nationwide.
I understand what you are saying, but I prefer my county Sheriff to show respect for the RKBA by their actions, rather than spending time politicing with the different LEO organization. Do these organizations really do anything to benefit the taxpayer/gun owner?tomtexan wrote:It is very disturbing to me that there are only two on that list from Texas.![]()
